Get your data in without opening your network or rewriting your scripts.

01

A helper inside, nothing open from outside.

The admin installs a small program (the AverDesk agent) on a Windows or Linux server inside the office network. It looks around, collects what it finds and sends it to your organization. The connection goes only outward. You open no doors from the internet into your network (no inbound ports).

02

People and groups from your user directory.

Most companies already keep their employees and departments in a directory (Active Directory or LDAP). AverDesk reads people and groups from it and changes nothing there. The service account used for reading can work without a stored password.

03

The spreadsheet you already have.

The admin exports the old list from the previous tool, the monitoring system or a spreadsheet (CSV or JSON) and imports it. This is usually the fastest first day: the existing list lands in AverDesk, and the linking starts from there.

04

For your own scripts.

The company has a script that creates accounts for new hires. It can create the matching records in AverDesk too. The API is described in a standard format (OpenAPI 3.1), so client code can be generated. Running the same script twice gives the same result, not duplicates (idempotent bulk upserts). It works with n8n and with whatever the admin already writes in Python, PowerShell or bash.

What is coming.

Connectors to cloud providers are not available yet; they are on the roadmap. Agent-based integrations and automatic data population are in progress now. We would rather tell you that than promise a button that is not there.
