Privacy Policy
What personal data we collect on averdesk.com and in the AverDesk service, why we need it and what rights you have.
Version dated 12 October 2026
1. Who we are
This policy is published by the owner of the website averdesk.com and the AverDesk service (“we”, “us”). We decide how and why your personal data is processed. For any privacy question, write to support@averdesk.com; we reply within 30 calendar days.
This policy is part of the License Agreement and may be published in several languages. If versions differ, the English version prevails.
2. What this policy covers
It covers personal data we receive when you visit the website, write to us, register and use the service, pay for a subscription or contact support.
It does not cover the information your organization enters into the service about its own systems, employees and requests. For that information your organization decides what is recorded and why, and we process it only on its behalf (see section 7).
3. What data we collect
- When you visit the website: technical data your browser sends automatically, such as the address it connects from, the type of device and browser, and the pages you open. With your consent, we also collect aggregated statistics about how the site is used.
- When you write to us: the details you enter in the form (name, work email, company, role, topic, preferred language and message), your consent, and technical data needed to protect the form from spam.
- When you use the service: account details, your settings, the organizations and teams you belong to, your access rights and a record of significant actions in your account.
- When you pay: subscription details and payment status. Payments are processed by an external payment provider; we do not receive or store full card details.
- When you contact support: your messages and anything you choose to send us.
4. Why we use your data
- to provide the service, keep your account secure and send service messages;
- to answer your requests, arrange a demonstration or discuss pricing;
- to bill for subscriptions and keep the records the law requires;
- to protect the website and the service from spam, abuse and unauthorised access;
- to understand, with your consent, how the website is used and make it better;
- to inform you about important changes to the service or these documents.
We process data because it is needed to perform our agreement with you, to meet legal obligations, for our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, or on the basis of your consent. We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising and do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
5. How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Messages from the contact form are kept for up to 3 years after our last contact with you. Account data is kept while the account exists and is deleted after you delete it. Records required by law are kept for the period the law sets.
6. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the website and the service, and only to the extent each of them needs. They process data on our instructions and are obliged to protect it. We may also disclose data where the law requires it or to protect our rights. Where data is processed outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards.
7. Your organization’s data in the service
Everything your organization records in AverDesk belongs to your organization, which decides what to record and is responsible for having the right to do so. We process this information only to provide the service. Data of different organizations is kept separately, and we do not access it except at your request or where the law requires it. If your organization needs a data processing agreement, write to us.
8. How we protect data
We use organizational and technical measures appropriate to the risk: separation of customer data, access control, encryption, regular backups and monitoring for suspicious activity. No system is completely secure; if an incident affects your data, we will inform you without undue delay.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, ask for it to be deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format and withdraw your consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise a right, write to support@averdesk.com; we may ask you to confirm your identity.
10. Children
The website and the service are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has given us their data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Cookies
How we use cookies is described in the Cookie Policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes in advance in the service or by email. The date of the current version is shown at the top.
