AverDesk / Roadmap

The full picture.
Piece by piece.

The heart of AverDesk is ready and in daily use. Now we are teaching it to fill itself in, so nobody has to type in every server by hand. After that comes help from AI, and further out, new ways to reach AverDesk, such as a phone app.

01

Available now

Everything a team needs day to day is already here: the list of what you have, how it all connects, and the daily support work.

Know what you have

A list of all your equipment, software and services, with your own fields and a history of every change. Links between them follow rules, and AverDesk refuses a link that would go round in a circle. When a server fails, you see which services and products it takes down with it (impact analysis from host to product).

Explore inventory

Handle the support work

Outages and employee requests with deadlines for the first response and for the fix (SLA timers), a portal where employees order what they need, planned maintenance and a record of each service’s status.

Explore the service desk

Connect and separate

A small agent on your servers that only sends data out, a read-only sync of staff from your company directory (AD/LDAP), CSV and JSON imports, an API for your own scripts, separate organizations and access roles.

02

In progress

Teaching the picture to fill itself in.

A growing agent

The Windows and Linux agent already connects your servers to AverDesk. We are growing it so that more of what happens in your environment reaches AverDesk without anyone lifting a finger.

Data that fills itself in

Servers, installed software and the links between them should appear and stay current on their own. The goal is simple: a new server goes live on Friday, and on Monday it is already in the list with its software, and nobody typed a thing.

03

Planned

AI comes next. A phone app and a virtual assistant come after that.

Next

AI that helps you understand problems

AI looks at your infrastructure and at problems that keep coming back, so the team understands sooner why things break.

AI in the employee portal

AI in the self-service portal helps employees with their requests.

Further ahead

A mobile application

A dedicated AverDesk app for your phone.

A virtual assistant

An assistant that handles most employee requests on its own, so the IT team can spend its time on harder work. This is where we want AverDesk to go in the long run.

We do not put dates on these stages. They show where our attention goes, and priorities can shift as we learn from the people who use AverDesk.
