Cookie Policy
Which cookies averdesk.com uses, why, and how you can control them.
Version dated 12 October 2026
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. The next time you open the site, the browser sends it back, so the site can remember a setting or recognise a repeat visit. Some cookies are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used.
This policy covers the website averdesk.com. The AverDesk service has its own rules, described in section 6.
2. Types of cookies on this site
- Strictly necessary. Without them the site cannot remember basic settings, such as your language and your cookie choice. They are always on and do not require consent.
- Analytics. They help us see which pages people read and where visitors get stuck, so we can make the site clearer. They are used only with your consent.
We do not use advertising cookies or social media cookies.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies remember the language you chose and whether you accepted or declined analytics, so the site does not ask again on every page. They contain only these settings, not your name or contact details. They are kept for up to one year.
Members of our team who sign in to manage the website also receive standard sign-in cookies. Ordinary visitors never receive them.
The contact form does not set cookies. How we handle the messages you send is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use an analytics service to understand, in aggregated form, how many people visit the site, which pages they open, how long they stay, what kind of device they use and where they came from. Analytics cookies contain a random identifier, not your name or email, and are kept for up to two years. We do not use this data to identify you or to show you advertising.
Until you agree, analytics is not loaded and no analytics data is collected.
5. What we do not use
- No advertising cookies, retargeting or tracking pixels.
- No social network widgets that set cookies from other companies.
6. The AverDesk service
When you register or sign in to the AverDesk service, it uses its own strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and protect your session. Without them you cannot use your account. The service does not use advertising cookies. Its use is governed by the License Agreement and the Privacy Policy.
7. How to give or withdraw consent
On your first visit the site asks whether you agree to analytics cookies. Accepting and declining are equal choices: the site works the same either way. You can change your decision at any time with the «Cookie settings» link at the bottom of the page.
8. How to control cookies in your browser
You can also view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, usually in the privacy section. A private window deletes cookies when you close it. If you delete cookies, the site will keep working; it may ask for your language and your cookie choice again.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the cookies we use change. The date of the current version is shown at the top. If a change requires your consent, we will ask for it on the site.
